P.S. Yes, they are in goofy outfits (need to do laundry) and I can't explain why they are wearing each other's socks. :)

Fuzzy Wuzzy

Kim said Audrey reminded her of "Fuzzy Wuzzy Was a Bear" during the twins' six-month photo shoot. I've been calling Audrey Fuzzy Wuzzy ever since, and I had to post this picture of her (despite how long her hair is getting, it still stands straight up!). Enjoy.

Put Your Hands Where I Can See Them!

These kids are not going to have any fingers left by the time I'm through with them! I always put their hands on the tray when I'm buckling them into the highchairs. However, this morning, sneaky little Isaac nonchalantly moved a hand while I was focused on the other side of the tray and when I snapped on the tray, I snapped him in there too and pinched his finger. After a "bloody murder" scream came out of him, I realized what I had done and quickly removed the tray to find a purplish, completely smashed finger underneath. This is not my first finger offense: When Audrey was two months old, I was trimming her nails and skimmed off the tip of her finger (I think it took about a month for the skin to grow back!).
Ryan knows how clumsy and accident-prone I am, but oh! the guilt I have that my children are the innocent victims of my un-watchful eye. It's nothing that some Tylenol and a miniature ice pack won't cure, but alas, the guilt is weighing on me. Isaac has had a particularly rough morning--Audrey had a big, projectile spit-up that nailed him in the face. It reminds me of the book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Hope it ends on a better note for you, kiddo!
