The Bix Tradition

The annual Bix race and festival in Davenport, IA has been a tradition for Ryan since middle school and a tradition for me since I've met Ryan. Well, it's now a tradition for Audrey and Isaac, who ran their first Jr. Bix race last Friday night.

Despite the heat, it was a blast and we're so proud of them! Isaac kept saying at the end, "I did it! I run the race! Run the race!" and Audrey was just beside herself when she saw that Elmo was waiting for her when she crossed the finish line (we all felt sorry for the guys who had to wear the Elmo and Cookie Monster costumes in 100 degree heat!).
